Six years after discovering jug band music, Arlo Leach was inducted into the Jug Band Hall of Fame in 2010 in the Patron category. This honor recognizes his efforts to popularize the music through classes and workshops, an annual Battle of the Jug Bands in Chicago, gravestone fundraisers for Will Shade, Earl McDonald and Joe and Charlie McCoy, and a series of jug band iPhone apps. He currently plays with the How Long Jug Band and the Spodee-o's in Portland, OR.
